Aspirean Wealth, LLC

Website Privacy Policy

This policy covers aspirean.com and book.aspirean.com (the “Sites”), run by Aspirean Wealth, LLC (“Aspirean,” “we”). It explains what we collect from visitors, how we use it, who sees it, and the choices you have.

If you are a client, the personal financial information we hold about you and your accounts is covered by our separate Client Privacy Notice, linked in the footer of every page. This policy is about the websites.

We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising, and we do not share visitor information with advertisers, data brokers, or affiliated firms.

1. What we collect

Information you send us. You can read the Sites without telling us anything. We receive personal information only when you choose to send it: your name, email address, and message through the contact form; your email address to open the tax-loss harvesting calculator; and your name, email address, meeting choice, time zone, notes, and any guest’s email address when you schedule a meeting at book.aspirean.com. Please do not send account numbers or Social Security numbers through the website; we collect those through secure channels once we are working together.

A record of your visit, kept in your browser. When you arrive at aspirean.com, a script on our own site begins a record of your visit so that, if you later send us an inquiry, we can see how you found us and what you read. It notes the site or search that referred you and any campaign tags in the link, the pages you viewed here and when, how many times you have visited, roughly how long a page was in front of you while you were active, whether you were on a phone, tablet, or desktop, and your approximate location. It does not record what you type, where your mouse moves, or anything from your clipboard. The record stays in your browser and is sent to us only if you submit the contact or calculator form, where it travels with your message. If you never submit a form, it never leaves your device.

Approximate location. Our hosting provider, Netlify, estimates each visitor’s country, state, and city from the network they connect through and passes that estimate to your browser in a short-lived cookie. It is city-level at best and often wrong on corporate networks or VPNs. We never see or store your IP address in this process.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find aspirean.com and which pages they read. Google sets cookies to tell one browser from another and processes the usage data on our behalf. Google Signals and advertising features are turned off, and we do not use Analytics for advertising. book.aspirean.com runs no analytics.

Spam protection and the office map. The contact form and the scheduling tool use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated submissions, and the Contact page embeds a Google Map of our offices. When these load, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies under Google’s privacy policy.

Hosting. Like every website, the Sites are delivered by a hosting provider (Netlify) whose systems receive your IP address and browser type with each request in order to serve the page and block abuse. Our own code does not read or keep IP addresses.

2. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser; local and session storage work the same way but are not sent with page requests. This is everything the Sites set.

book.aspirean.com sets no cookies of its own; only reCAPTCHA’s appear there, at the step where you enter your details. Your browser settings let you view, block, or delete cookies. Blocking ours will not break the Sites. Blocking Google’s may stop the reCAPTCHA check, and with it the contact form and scheduling tool.

3. How we use it

  • To answer your inquiry and, if you ask, to arrange a conversation.
  • To schedule, confirm, remind you about, reschedule, or cancel a meeting you booked.
  • To follow up about the calculator if you asked to open it.
  • To understand how visitors find aspirean.com and which pages they read, so we can improve the site.
  • To protect the Sites from spam, abuse, and security threats.
  • To keep the records the SEC requires of a registered investment adviser, including communications with prospective clients.

4. Who we share it with

Only these categories of recipients, and never for their own marketing:

  • Companies that run the Sites for us, on our instructions: Netlify (hosting, form storage, location estimate); Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA, the office map); Microsoft (meetings you book are written to our Microsoft 365 calendars, and email you send us arrives there); Resend (sends booking confirmations, reminders, and cancellations); and Zoom (hosts virtual meetings under its own privacy policy). Until our scheduling tool launches, the “Schedule a call” button on the Contact page leads to OnceHub, which collects your details under OnceHub’s privacy policy.
  • Our professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, and compliance consultants.
  • Regulators and the law: the Securities and Exchange Commission during examinations, and anyone else when a law, subpoena, or court order requires it or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
  • A successor if Aspirean is merged, acquired, or reorganized; this policy would continue to apply.

If you become a client, what you sent through the Sites becomes part of your client file and is thereafter covered by the Client Privacy Notice.

5. Browser privacy signals and tracking by others

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or has Do Not Track turned on, aspirean.com does not load Google Analytics and does not keep the visit record described in Section 1. Nothing else about the Sites changes.

California law asks us to say whether other companies may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites when you use the Sites. Google may, through Analytics, reCAPTCHA, and the embedded map, under Google’s privacy policy; we have turned off the Analytics features that feed advertising. No other third party tracks you across sites through the Sites.

6. How long we keep it

  • Contact form and calculator submissions, including the attached visit record, are deleted from our form storage 24 months after submission, unless you have become a client, in which case they join your client file under our record-keeping obligations.
  • Meeting bookings are calendar entries. Cancelled meetings are removed when cancelled; completed meetings remain in our calendar history as a record of the appointment.
  • Google Analytics keeps event-level and user-level data for 2 months. It is tied to a random identifier, never to your name.
  • Cookies expire on the schedule in Section 2. Email you send us is kept under our firm records policy, which the SEC sets at a minimum of five years for business communications.

7. Your choices

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you from the Sites. Email team@aspirean.com with the subject “Privacy request” from the address you used on the Sites, and we will respond within 30 days. One limit: where the SEC requires us to keep a record, we will tell you so and delete it when that period ends. You can also stop the collection in Section 1 at any time by turning on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or by blocking cookies for aspirean.com. We honor these choices for everyone, wherever you live.

8. A few other things

Security. The Sites are served only over encrypted connections and use security headers that limit which scripts can run. Access to submissions and calendars is restricted to team members who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable care with what you send us.

Children. The Sites are for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites. The Client Portal page links to account portals run by eMoney, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Envestnet, and Flourish, and our articles sometimes link to outside sources. Once you leave the Sites, that site’s privacy policy applies.

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects what we collect or how we use it, we also post a notice on the aspirean.com homepage for 30 days. Earlier versions are available on request.
