Advanced Planning Lead
Kevin Ostafinski
Raised in Valparaiso, Indiana, as the youngest of six in a household led by a Lutheran minister, I learned service, integrity, and a strong work ethic early. My father’s ministry instilled a passion for helping others; my mother modeled responsibility and long-term planning. My U.S. Navy service as a Sonar Technician deepened my commitment to discipline, problem-solving, and teamwork.
After the Navy, I earned dual bachelor’s degrees in history and accounting from Purdue University and built a career in private corporate and public accounting, mastering financial statements, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks. In time, I found myself drawn to the personal side of finance and to how people make decisions, manage risk, and plan ahead. That pull inspired my move into financial planning.
At Aspirean, I combine technical accounting expertise with financial planning to serve clients with a well-rounded, proactive approach. Guided by integrity, service, and education, I help individuals and families gain financial clarity and confidence.
Outside work, my wife Megan and I stay busy with our son Aiden, two cats, and a spirited Brittany Spaniel. We love to travel and create memories with family and friends. I look forward to helping clients navigate every aspect of their financial lives with care and confidence.
